Choosing accommodation for the World Economic Forum starts with the week you need to be in Davos. Our rental period is fixed: Saturday 16 January to Saturday 23 January 2027, a seven-night stay. Arriving on the Saturday gives your group time to settle in before the meeting week, with departure the following Saturday.

The Annual Meeting itself is listed for 18–22 January 2027 by Davos Congress Centre. Those event dates are separate from the apartment rental dates. Check your invitations, individual programme and travel requirements before arranging your journey.

Where to stay in Davos during WEF.

The right apartment is the one that works with your own agenda. Start by listing the places you expect to visit: the Congress Centre, a meeting venue, an office or an evening event. Then compare the actual property address with those locations. A description such as “central Davos” is useful context, but it does not replace checking your daily route.

If you are considering a Davos Platz apartment, look at its position relative to the Promenade, Congress Centre and Davos Platz station. Check whether your most frequent journeys will be practical on foot and how close the nearest useful bus stop is. Ask about the final walk to the building, particularly when you are carrying luggage.

Apartments in Davos Dorf

For an apartment in Davos Dorf, compare the address with Davos Dorf station and the bus connections that suit your schedule. A little extra living space may be a worthwhile choice if the transport arrangements work well for your group. The exact address matters more than the neighbourhood label.

Accommodation near Davos Congress Centre.

The Davos Congress Centre is the main venue associated with the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. When comparing apartments near the Congress Centre, consider the entire journey: leaving the property, reaching a bus stop if needed, waiting for a service and walking from your arrival point to the entrance you are authorised to use.

Walking and local buses

Davos has a local bus network, with current connections available through SBB’s journey planner. Official Davos transport information explains the local network and travel options. Check the timetable for your travel dates; an estimated bus journey on a listing does not include a guaranteed service or departure time.

In winter, leave time for snow, luggage and the final approach to your venue. During WEF, confirm any security-related access arrangements with your organiser and property contact. An apartment booking does not include accreditation, event badges or access to restricted areas.

Getting to Davos for the World Economic Forum.

For rail travel, the official destination guidance describes travelling with Swiss Federal Railways to Landquart and continuing with the Rhaetian Railway towards Klosters or Davos. Look up the full journey from your arrival point, including any airport connection, in the SBB timetable. Choose the Davos station and onward connection that fit your eventual apartment address.

If you are driving, ask whether a parking space is included and whether there are practical limits on access or unloading. Keep arrival details, the property contact and your check-in instructions available before the final part of your trip. Avoid making plans around an assumed transfer time: use the published connections and current travel information for your dates.

Choosing an apartment for WEF week.

An apartment can provide a shared living room, a kitchen and a place to prepare for the next day. For colleagues travelling together, the practical details often matter more than the headline guest capacity. Check the number of separate bedrooms, actual beds and bathrooms, and whether the layout gives everyone the privacy they need.

Review working space and internet requirements if you plan to work from the apartment. If you need to host visitors or use the property for business meetings, ask about the owner's permission and building rules before booking. Residential accommodation should not be assumed to include event or commercial-use rights.

For a larger team, several smaller apartments may be worth considering alongside one larger property.
